Currently I am on hiatus from bottle making in order to let my eyes and soul rest. I have a few bottles in progress including one that will contain the Glade Creek Mill at Babcock State Park (in 1/220 scale). I have also started a new series of outside-the-bottle work, which will be 3-D architectural portraits of pre-WWII coal camp architecture. The coal camp house below is from Pickshin, WV, and is built from historic photographs, using strip wood, in the luxuriously large scale of 1/64.
